I have found an automatic transmission from a 1955 T-bird that I'm hoping to put in my '57. I'm not a stickler for originality so this will work for me. Having a little difficulty with the fasteners for the upper rear compartment trim on my '57. Attached is a pic of the piece I'm working with. Can someone please share a close up image or two of this area?

Hi Guys,
I am ready to install the engine in my '57 but I'm a little unclear on the steady brackets. They appear to fit either side and I've done an extensive image search without luck. So I don't know which bracket goes on which side of the block. Appreciate the help.

Yes, that is the same piece. I spoke with Bob at Larry's and he confirmed it is the PS bracket.
