Re: hard brake pedal
Ok, think it is a leak in the booster, sucks on the hose and look like I keep getting air.
Can I take the mastercillinder of without disconnecting the oillines?
And is there a way to disconnect the booster so I can keep driving it but without powerbrake?

Re: hard brake pedal
I took off the upper hose. It have a good vacum I think, I do feel it good.
I cant find any leak.
But were does the second hose goes to? Goes to a metal pipe That goes down behind the engine.

hard brake pedal
Hi,
in my 63' with powerbrake the pedal goes real hard Since yesterday.
I looked into the manual and there they say it could be a vacuüm leak, but the engine runs well. Is it treu That the engine wont run so niCE when vacum leaks?
What could I do more to fix this problem?

Re: Aftermarket ac question
Yes it looks like the one of oldair products
But they don't sell frontplates only.
I think it is the same as eboose7 got in his beautiful thunderbird. It was in my car when I bought it 25 years ago. But just restored my interior and like to put a new chrome front on it to finish it

Hi all,
In 56 thunderbird I've got an aftermarket AC
Are there more people who got one like this?
I am looking for parts but can't find what I need.
Especially the chrome frontbezel

Re: 1956 steering column instalation
But at the beginning I had already a lot of problem. I think because of the right line of the splines.
At one point I came as far as shown on picture.
But can't get the last few centimers with normal pushing.
Are there more ways the splines fits in each other's? I thought it just go on 1 way
