Thanks Will. I adjusted the pedal pushrod out a little today and drove about 25 miles. It's certainly the issue as my brakes were much freer now. I'll adjust a little more and see if I can get it all the way perfect. Also seems the abrupt pedal feel is better and more predictable.

I realize this thread is years old, but I recently got my '62 back on the road and am having the same experience and am looking to see if a resolution to this issue was found. The brakes seem to work well and smooth at first, but after driving for a while, they increasingly hang up or stick. The ped...

Question about markings on radiator support
I am wondering if this mark is a factory mark. A friend swears its a wrecking yard mark but I have no reason to suspect this car has ever seen significant damage. car is a 1962 thunderbird hardtop.
