Brakes
82 Bird, Heritage Edition, 4.2 Liter V8, 30,1000 miles: Brake pedal is at the top with engine off. Start Engine and have to depress pedal at least halfway down to get brakes. Once I get brakes, they are great. Why does the pedal drop so far with the Booster engaged? Do I need to replace the booster ...

Front hub caps spinning in wheels
My front hub caps keep turning in the wheels when I drive the car. This causes the hub caps to pull out my valve stems. How do I stop them from turning in the wheels? I have new wheels and spray painted them semi-gloss black.

Re: The Disk Brake Diary.....Thread covering Disk swap on a '63
I have brakes with the engine off however when I start the engine the pedal goes al the way to floor and will not pump up. Did you use the Vacuum booster supplied by Auto City classics?

Power Brake issue
I converted my 64 to Disc Brakes and have no assist from the booster. I have a new booster but is is very difficul to install. Could this be a mechanicl adjustment of some sort? I do have brakes but they will not lock up. it is as if I only have regular brakes. Putting both feet on the brake pedal I...

Re: Power Brake issue
I used an Auto City kit with a 77 Vette Master. The booster is a universal booster. I have 13+ inches of Vac at an idle and 17 at just above idle. The supplier sent me a new booster but before I have it installed I just wanted to know if it could be a mechanical adjustment that is out?

Re: Front brake Chatter
I have discovered the brakes are not releasing. Like I said everything is new. Can the Vacuum Booster cause this issue? There is no play in the pedal so I am having the push rod backed off today. Will let you know if that helps.
Thanks for all your suggestions.

Re: how to remove passenger side rear moulding
I have the trim reinstalled and I can not thank you enough for your guidance.! It was not bad and the tip on the bolted clip was very helpful. I used a lube called Tri-Flow on the clips and the trim and it popped right on! Thanks again!

Re: how to remove passenger side rear moulding
Thank you. Am I correct that you pinch the clips once they are in the hole? Also do I use a thin putty knife to pop the trim off?
