Replacement ignition switch
I am trying to replace my original 56 ignition switch with one that I bought from Macs. The terminals on the replacement are about one-third the length of the originals. This doesn't pose a problem for the Batt and Ign terminals, but the acc terminal is far too short to accommodate the five terminal...

My steel gas lines from the fuel pump to the carb are rusty on the exterior. Once they are buffed clean, what is the best way to put a durable finish on them, and what do I use?

I am restoring my 56 and I have the tank out and the sending unit cover off. I also have the trunk liner removed. The diameter of the access hole is 3.5 inches. It is located 11.5 inches from the inside driver's side wheel well and 21.0 inches from the passenger side wheel well. The hole is 9.0 inch...
