Does anybody know how much the bolt that connects the front shock to the lower front shock mounting bracket should be torqued? I am starting to suspect that this is what's causing my front suspension to make loud metallic bangs. It also bangs very hard when hitting bumps in the road. I am wondering ...

Thank you for your answer. No 12 mm here. But I see that Bird Nest now has a manifold that has the same output that the left manifold has. Then I can get rid of the adapter. Just have to extend the exhaustpipe a bit.

My 1966 has a C6 transmission. But it still has the same shift pattern as the Cruise-O-Matic. D2 - D - L. So, is it still a Cruise-O-Matic even if it undeniable is a C6? Thanks! Yeah, a friend of mine with a 1965 also pointed that it should be at the rear. Guess that will solve my problem.

Does anybody have the correct procedure to install the top trim over the windshield on the convertible. I just can't get it to sit correctly over the lip on the windshield gasket. And it is quite, what should I say, squeezy, it is almost springloaded so it is a little fight just to get it on at all....

Well, nobody answered, but for future surfers I can tell that I now have found out that there are no lights in the buttons on the steering wheel. Spoke to fellow Thunderbird owner here in Norway.
