Mine brakes had the larger lined shoe in the rear position. My ebrake hardly worked. I switched the shoes to resemble the book, larger shoe toward the front of the car and the ebrake worked better. I agree everyone should have those publications on the shelf for reference and they are helpful. The only concern is if every inquiry is answered by buying these books eventually this forum is no longer needed. People come here to draw upon members experience from previously done work.

Yes all my other gauges work 100%. My voltage at the sender is 5 volts. When grounding the wire at the sender if held to ground long enough it will peg the temp gauge.
