Directional wiring diagram

My directional's were working fine. I have new fender directional's and work perfect until a couple of days ago. Now my passenger fender directional is not working. I unplug the wire behind the battery and if I apply 12V it lights. When I meter the feed wire, nothing. My Tbird wiring diagram does no...

Convertible top replacement

This fall I am going to replace my top on my 1965 Tbird. I am debating if I should go with the standard top or canvas. I think canvas has a nicer appearance but it is not factory. I am not worried about points or judging my car. I imagine the canvas is a heavier top and wondered if that would put an...

Here is a neat trick

If you are replacing the door seals you will most likely have the plastic surrounds that the plastic pins going into missing. I've bought the new ones that are sold but they don't work well as they do not grip. I then purchased dry wall anchors and they work great! They hold the rubber plugs in tigh...

Re: Parking brake safe to use

Mine brakes had the larger lined shoe in the rear position. My ebrake hardly worked. I switched the shoes to resemble the book, larger shoe toward the front of the car and the ebrake worked better. Which is correct? This must be the same on all cars. What do other cars rear brakes show? Mustang, Gal...

Re: Door seal problem

I have the same problem. I ordered them from Larry. Doors would not close. Took them off, purchased them else where, same problem. What gives? How do others correct this problem?

Re: 66 tbird rear suspenion

I agree everyone should have those publications on the shelf for reference and they are helpful. The only concern is if every inquiry is answered by buying these books eventually this forum is no longer needed. People come here to draw upon members experience from previously done work.

Just a thought

Would it be helpful to have a chain of pictures of factory original parts of the Tbird. I know there are restoration books, with or without pictures. In color or Black and white. If members here were able to provide shots of factory correct aspects I for one am a visual learner. A picture is worth a...

Re: Temp gauge not working

Yes all my other gauges work 100%. My voltage at the sender is 5 volts. When grounding the wire at the sender if held to ground long enough it will peg the temp gauge.
