No, it does not have an adhesive or double sided tape. I have read that the instruments can come out of the dash individually without removing the whole dash, just do not know how the aluminum is attached to the dash. We haven't done anything yet, and I don't think it is the same system you have installed. When I get a better read on what my mechanic has up his sleeve and how it works I will report back with all the details.

Will do Jim, I think he "believes" this to be problem. He hasn't actually tested the switch, it doesn't cycle off so he is pretty sure that's what it is. I will send the old switch to you, hopefully that is what it is!

Bob, it worked for a short while, (I think) and then started freezing up. My mechanic thought that there is an adjustment screw on the switch but this one does not have one?? It cools great but just won't cycle off and on.
