I believe they only sell the complete door panels that would need to be dyed.

No sure if 60fore has the engine pics after the powder coating as he sold the bird a few years ago but is still active on this forum.

The only thing I didn't like about the new assembly was the lettered insert that is glued to the frame. My original switch did not have any lettering on it, and I wanted to stay as close to original as possible. I considered not using the lettered insert, but the area around the switches in the new...

I didn't know some of these birds had that canister there. I'm guessing maybe you have to remove the splash shield?

Did you see the bird in person? If so maybe see what the vin may be that is stamped on the body not sure where that would be on the bullet birds.

I think you are correct in that there is some wiring issue, they shouldn't come on with brake activation. Good luck.
