Rear leaf springs

How do i tell if my rear leaf springs need to be replaced
on my 56 thunderbird ? They seem a little straight when i
look under the car. Not much curve to them.
Thanks

Oil Pan on 1956

I have a small leak in my oil pan gasket so i was going to replace it.
Does the pan come off and on with no problems ?, does anything get in the way?
Thought i would ask before starting.I have power steering ,looks like it might
be in the way.
Thanks

Marvel Mystery Oil

Does anyone use Marvel Mystery oil in there engines? (In the gas or oil ) Is it good to use or a waste of money?
Will it harm our Thunderbird engines?

Problem solved, it was the dimmer. rather than buy a new headlight switch for 70.00 i got a double spade connector and put it on the R post and ran the dashboard lights wire to it. Now the dash lights come on whenever i turn on the headlights...Don't have to worry about the dimmer.

fuse

I've got all lights , turn signals and shifter light and courtesy light working . The speedo lights and tach light and clock light not working. the Bulbs look good. Is there a fuse somewhere for these? Anyone have an idea what might be wrong?
I tried rotating the dimmer too. key off and on .

Spare tire mounting

Does this look correct how this tire is mounted? I seems the top mounting stud is through the center . Is this how it is to be?

Bushings

Are the A arm bushings on the front of my 56 thunderbird pressed in or is it an easy job to take them out and install new ones?
