I believe that they are made from stainless steel, which means if they are a bit dull and marked you could polish them back up with a polishing buff on a bench grinder.

I was just seeing if anybody new if there were new ones, but according to Don there are none.

I don't think so Cliff. They have a step in the shape, a shim to me is just a flat piece of thin metal. Then again I could be wrong.

I am just looking at removing the dents and scratches.
I did my stainless steel trims some time ago and they turned out good.
Just looking if anybody else has done it and for any tips.

Has anybody had the aluminium side shields on the front seats re-anodised?
I am looking at knocking the dents out and sanding the shields back prior to having them anodised.

Did you take the butterflies out and remove the shaft?
Or they were left alone.
Also maybe the dashpot maybe holding the throttle open slightly.
