I might step on some toes here, but you asked, so here goes. I am not talking about VTCI here, but about big car clubs in general. I was silly enough years ago to join 2 large, nationally recognized car clubs, representing two very common but popular 60s cars. I got in these clubs expecting to just ...

Transmission trubbas
No third gear...been trying to educate myself on the C-O-M, but apparently I need to take a graduate course just to figure out which one is actually in the car. She parks, reverses, and drives as she should until I get to where third should be, then nothing. Could it be a linkage or column problem? ...

Won't go off. PO just took the arms off and let 'em run.
Switch? Relay?
They will change speed, just won't go off.
Can I pull the fuse as a temporary fix?

Ms. Melanie..I read your post before dragging this back up, and it has been a help. Mr. Tyrone, I checked Summit (and Jegs) after I read your earlier post and couldn't find the harness you referred to. I 've been fooling with it off and on for a couple of days...seemed to be running OK. Start-up is ...

Update: Module and coil arrived! Installed the module in the distributor per instructions and a youtube vid from pertronix. Fired it up, purred like a kitten, no more misses, exhaust even stunk less. Let her run for a few, grinnin like a mule in a briar patch. **POOF**. Shut off like somebody turned...

Wheel bafflement on a 64
The only wheels I see on the 64-66 models seem to be wheel covers and wires. I think those look very nice, but I have an unhealthy lust for "period correct" wheels like the Magnum 500s and the Styled Steels. I would like to modify my bird a bit, but stay as close to the era as possible. I ...
