tell me

I have the same issue with my low fuel light--despite having installed a new sending unit. If I understand the circuit for the low fuel lamp correctly (Osborn Elec. Manual, page 61), the star-up test just tells you that the bulb is ok. It does not mean that the relay is working properly. I suspect ...

I recently wen't through all my windows and for the first time since I've owned the car, the back windows work! But it wasn't easy.. You can certainly take the motor apart and rotate it a bit. Wouldn't hurt to clean it out and lube it a bit too. I suspect you'll find that the big gear on the regula...

I haven't had much luck with Larry's either. He gave me the "That's as close as you can get.." after sending me wrong color headliner and then gave me static over returning it. Other vendors had correct part. Some of the other bits and pieces I bought there fell apart after a few uses. OT...

no thanks

Seeing as where you live in the high desert, I would suggest Larry's thunderbird parts in Corona. I have had good results with them on the few parts I have needed over the years, and the best part is I can drive there to see the parts before buying them. Bob. larrys cost to much and the customer se...

jhenry's response sums it all up. Photos are critical, the slide away steering has slotted holes for adjustment that you need to get back into position. Also the "shutters" which cover the opening in the dash when the wheel is pushed aside can be tricky, be careful not to break a retainin...

hello

Agree with all tips above. I have this tip: as you remove a set of screws, inventory them immediately; check that they are not ill-fitting replacements. Get correct replacements if they are, and replace all missing items. A few weeks afterward, your memory will not be reliable, so a picture of the ...
