Re: Thunderbird Scoop Magazine Past Article Access/Online Index

Alan, I can't help with digitizing but I do have many back issues of the Scoop going back to 1989(?) Whoever wants to take this project on is welcome to them.

Re: White wall red line tires

I don't believe red lines were exclusive to Thunderbirds. If memory serves, they were also available on a GTO.

Re: Engine noise: need ideas

I will second Jim Wulf's suggestion. When my '65 convertible had a "knock" it turned out to be the right exhaust manifold gasket. I remember at the time how weird that was, at least to me. Good luck!

Not sure if I understand your question.
Most, if not all, of us are not knowledgeable on current automobiles.

I am 6'0" and thought that was about the limit of comfort of fit

I am 6'0" also and I agree with you about the limit.
I wanted a 2 seat convertible for years and checked out many but I didn't fit in one until the Retrobird.

Re: Flair bird wheel and jack

I have a jack. When I sold my '65 last summer, I included a bunch of parts from another '65 that had been parted out.
The buyer didn't want this jack. I will give it away as I have no use for it. I'm in Minnesota, near the Twin Cities.

Re: This actually happened
