Thanks for that, Do you think there is any need to look at jet sizes from original spec? due to the current low grade fuel now days I use a 98 fuel with no ethanol, seems to run ok but wasn't driving a tri-power back in 63 to make a comparison. Brian.

G'Day all. I'm in the process of replacing the power valve in my Tri-power after a huge backfire. My question is it had been fitted with a lower number the 1963 Ford supplement shows the correct #65 but the spec in the same section shows the power valve opens at between 7 1/2 to 10 inches of mercury...

G'Day all. Can any one help with the original specifications on the size of this carriage bolt and nut and the correct finish also are the hold down plates sold by the major retailers exactly the same as original? thanks Brian

Hi ozzy 351. While the other half of the world is a sleep you some times can get a quick answer from down under. The clip I believe is a radio anti static device which should have sharp turned up ends at the corners to make contact to the underside of the bonnet or as the others say hood when closed...

Hi. Thanks for the eBay links I have sent a couple of emails just to check. the 5/8" white stripe hose does not show the grooves in the enlarged photo on there site but it's in the description and if Inline sells the hose clamps to suit. thanks Brian.
