As most of you know, my car is faaar from stock. I dont think putting an updated motor in a classic is a bad thing, I just dont think the 4.6 is the best choice. Id prob be more inclined to run a 302 out of a fox body mustang with a vortech blower or turbo setup. Reason being the cost of parts for t...

Nope I dont understand it either. Being a former ford mechanic still with "connections" I could have easily went the 4.6 way as well. But I feel the gain vs $ does not warrant it, and just cause its different doesnt mean its cool, look at the Pontiac Aztec.

looks like a 2v in both, I dont think the 32v motor will fit? That looks pretty tight as it is. Both those installs look pretty good though, very nice job, clean looking installs especially the second one. This is pretty! ./image-archive/i43.photobucket.com/albums/e376/birdman941/Stuff/M-6007-R50.jpg

Changing a thermostat is an easy job with a min. of coolent spilled on the pavement. I do not know what is the best temp limit for one. Perhaps someone may offer a good suggestion. Well in our 64 T-Bird I put in a 180/195* thermostat 14 years ago and never had an issue with it. It always runs below...

Running one leaf will not work, you need a min of two leafs de arched, a single leaf will snap, there is a local 64 here that went through two sets. If you look on air ride's site in the forum area this is covered in great detail. Edit: there must be a local shop that could make you a set, if not th...

yea I have to agree, looks like someone cut the heater core hoses going into the car. Check and see if you have a couple hoses looped in your engine bay.

I like when they boast its a frame of restoration but its a unibody car. LOL!

Edit: It looks like they did do a pretty good job on the resto, I hope he gets what he's asking, cause that means our cars go up in price.

Sometimes it can be a simple adjustment, other times all it takes is lubing up the window guide channels. The rubber dries out and creates too much friction for the motor to push up the glass. You can window channel lube from ford dealership.
