A few years ago, I took my original radiator to a repair shop to have a small leak fixed, and have it boiled out. I brought up the idea that if it were too expensive to repair, I would just go with an aluminum aftermarket one. He then told me that the original radiator in good shape would out flow a...

You hit it right on the head, RAVEN! Teachers today (not all of them, though) seem to not care as much as they say they do. A few years back, my step son brought home a report he had done for government class-he was so proud of getting an A for his work. Upon looking at said report, I found about ha...

Just my two cents worth... By changing to an aluminum intake, you'll shed some weight-those cast iron intakes are heavy. But on the performance side, I doubt if you'll be able to tell the difference. The carb you have picked out is one a few guys around here have put on their Fords. Seems to have a ...

When i did mine, I removed the fan blade to keep it out of the radiator, removed the nuts from the front motor mounts, and with a thick piece of plywood between the floor jack and the oil pan, raised the engine until I was able to wedge a short piece of 2x4 between the engine mounts and the frame mo...

Though it's a little hard on the checkbook, Kirkham Motorsports http://www.kirkhammotorsports.com/parts/ has a one piece all aluminum billet tank for about 500.00. This thing is a work of art!!

It's been five or so years ago I did mine-if I remember correctly I loosened up the shift bowl, unhooked the wires down at the base of the column, and wrapped a fine mechanics wire to the switch wiring, Pulled the switch up and out of the column with the wiring. With the mechanics wire still through...
