Re: Good To Be Back On The Forum!!1
Thanx guys!! I appreciate the good wishes and the "poopy advice" (LOL) The problem is that we did not discover the droppings until they were all nice and dried. The best thing that I have found thus far is to soak a paper towel in water and lay it on the spot until the poop softens. I then...

Good To Be Back On The Forum!!1
Good to be back with you guys!! Has been a pretty tough year. Diagnosed with "Arthritic Spine". Had five surgeries on my back. Finally ended up with an implanted "Spinal Stimulator" to block the pain signals. Talk about a God-sent!!! :multi: Then had to have cataract surgery and ...

Re: DIY Repairing Old Surge Tank
Man, I sure hope that you have better luck than I did with mine! I took it back to the radiator shop and had it "repaired" three (3) different times. I even tried to fix it myself with JB Weld. Not only did it LOOK awful; the @$%#&* thing STILL leaked!! :x :x Ended up buying a new one....

Mike,
Looks like you made it back home okay!

Re: No Tail Lights
David, My issue is since the previous owner was cutting and splicing i am lost and out of luck . Therein lies one of the pure joys of our obsession!! I learned long ago that in a case like this that the best (and certainly least frustrating) approach is to just forget trying to figure out wha...

Re: Dear Lord, Grant Me the Serenity
Steve, Rest assured that something good will come out of your experience!! As a matter-of-fact it already has!! I was out in the garage late last night puttzing around with the new fuel level sender unit that I am installing in my '63 HT's fuel tank. I say "puttzing around" because I have ...

Re: Dear Lord, Grant Me the Serenity
Steve, I know that I have joked and kidded you about this throughout your previous thread, but buddy I just want you to know that I (and I am sure all of the rest of the forum) feel your pain!! Sounds like this guy is a real POS!!  Sounds like you have a plan for the path forward. Just be...

Re: 390 Header Recommendation
Steve,
I used the FPA Ceramic Coated.
At the time (couple of years ago), FPA was the only one building headers for our 'Birds.
Pricey (~ $800), but well worth it in my opinion.

Paul, You said it a lot more eloquently than I could!! I had originally drafted a post recommending that Steve tell the guy where to kiss and to go do something to himself that is normally enjoyed by two consenting adults!!  Believing that discretion is the better part of valor and reco...
