Thanks guys. It took quite a bit of hand wringing before I made the decision. And I will definitely be back, Thunderbirds are in my blood now! No matter how many other cool cars I see, nothing looks as good as a bullet bird to me. And I've never gotten as many great comments driving down the road as...

No picture of them off the car yet, but here they are still on: ./image-archive/i14.photobucket.com/albums/a330/beerbudd...

My bird is sold.

Long story, but basically decided I don't have time right now. Between two energetic sets of twins and developing a new business I don't have time to keep the bird running and working well. Once my boys are old enough to get in the garage with me and be more help than hinderence, I will be back. I'l...

You don't mention it, but be sure that each time you hit it with blaster you also hit it with a hammer. Helps to get deeper into the threads. Be patient and do it each day over the course of a week and you should be able to get them loose.

No, no, no! Crate 350s are way overdone! Drop a nailhead in it. Lose the fenders. definitely no flames! (no, not black primer and red wheels either!) Nice brown with candy apple trim. I'm not a purist by any means, but my bird is VERY mildly customized, at least from the outside. I like to think tha...

Re: Ethanol

Randy said: If the left has their way, our T-birds will be stationary works of art. Darn those horrible leftist mid-west farmers! It's not environmentalists pushing for more ethanol, using corn as fuel is horribly inefficient and bad for the environment. Know they enemy if you want to be able to def...

It's an ok show. I still have a problem with people slapping on some bondo and paint, then recovering the interior and calling it a "full restoration." They did show a nice Rangoon Red bulletbird in their car show procession though.

Just so that we're clear on which bolt we're talking about - you are referring to the bolt inside the wheelwell that holds in the screw mounts, correct? If I understand you, you went into the wheelwells to remove the bolts that would then allow you to pull up the deck lid manually. If you need to ge...

Interesting. After listening to him in those interviews, I was wondering if he made his money doing something with a guy named Guido and a baseball bat, if you catch my meaning... :???:
And what part of "owns 20 car dealerships" is contrary to that?
