66 cruise control steering wheel
An interior restoration included the cruise control steering wheel which also was taken apart. Now, some months later, I have lost the photos of the wheel and need help. There are two studs on the back of the wheel that trip the turn signal switch. I would think that the studs fit on the left by the...

Program cars

Thanks for the quick reply. I have already modified a switch and have accumulated the relays and wiring harness. Now all I need is the correct base. Thanks again.

66 adding passenger power seat
My 66 came with a power drivers seat and manual passenger seat. I would like to add power to the passenger seat. Have been looking for a power base and all the ones I see have the motor on the left side when looking at the base from the front. Is the passenger side base the same or different?

Re: 66 reclining seat parts
The cable break was about 3 inches back from the handle. So I need a new stranded cable. I can attach new ends if I can find a source for the cable.

66 reclining seat parts
Well, the Roton cylinder for my reclining seat no longer works. Plus while pulling on the cable it broke as well. So I need them both. Long shot I know but does anyone have an extra? Thanks for looking and any leads. Steve

WTB carb/cruise control parts
So my preious owner put a holley carb on my 66 but kept the original autolite. I am now in the process of putting the autolite back on. The only problem is that the linkage at the carb is now missing so I cannot hook up the cruise control, etc. Can anyone help? Thanks, Steve

So a previous owner installed a Holley carb in place of the autolite. I have the original carb but the original parts that connected the carb to the linkage is gone. Anybody have any of this? Regards, Steve steve-rita@cox.net or 480-323-6058. Thanks

Jalon - STOP NOW AND BACK AWAY FROM THE CAR. Take a deep breath, exhale, now we are ready to start. It is not necessary to take everything apart again as you risk making the same mistake again when you put it back together. Pick one system that you have a diagraham for. Say the power door locks. Tra...

Typically it is an 8 hour job. Before you start do a leak down test to make sure that the other cylinders are in good condition. No need to replace the gaskets if your rings are shot. The same goes for leaking valves. Once they seal well combustion gases will blow by worn rings. Look for flame cutti...
