After ferther review, I have decided not to do the scoop. I will run w/o a air cleaner for now. All the period corect scoops are HUGE! The intake and carb are on. Took off the air conditioner and cruse controll, allong with allot of the vacume crap. New plugs, wires, cap, coil, points, battery. I have a set of HEADMANN headders to put on a 71 429. The flange on the face are a 1/4 thick. Thay are LONG ones with a slip fit to the pipes. I have herd good and bad about them.
