'67 Tudor Spotted

I spotted a nice looking '67 White Tudor Hardtop at an outdoor storage in Tulsa Saturday morning. Just curious if the owner is a member of the VTCI.

'69 cornering lights

First discovered the problem when the driver side bulb burned out. Replaced it, but it still didn't work, while the passenger side did. I then noticed later on the passenger side also quit working even though the bulb is still good. Since my car has cruise control, it has relays for the cornering li...

'69 Fordor right hand door mirror

I'm getting ready to install a period correct right hand door mirror on my '69 Fordor. I'm at the point to where it lines up with the driver door mirror, and getting ready to drill holes. I can't get it to adjust to where I can see paart of my car in it when looking out it. I understand that these o...

I'm not sure if it's true or not. I've heard that oil made for diesels aren't good for gas engines.

Oil Additives

I have a question about this. A co-worker was was reading one of his "hot rod" magazines. There was an article about todays oils not having enough zinc in them. This is supposed to cause premature cam lobe and engine wear. From what I understand, we're supposed to be adding a zinc based ad...

Stripe might not be to bad. I'd like to see the picture you made. Wonder if you could use a scoop similar to a '64/65 Bird. That might be low enough and long enough to look right on a glamorbird.

If you put a hood scoop on it, I hope you study that very careful. I've seen one or two on eBay with scoops, and they were down right ugly. I think they were to tall, and took away from the hood lines. Good luck and keep us updated.

Alan,

The font looks pretty close. they may be just a bit to thick (bold) though. I'm going to send you a couple pictures tonight. I had removed the "window lock" from my plate to try something I found at a hobby store. Needless to say, it didn't work.

Here's a question for the experts. I'd almost be willing to bet no one knows the answer to.

What is the font name used on the '68/69 power window housing?

I have just a couple leters worn off. So, I don't need to do them all.

Fordor interoir trim piece

I'm looking for a L/H trim piece. Looks to be P/N DOSZ5724486C. It fits under
the "C" pillar trim between the doors. Since it's Made of plastic/vinyl I'm
not sure if I can glue it or want to. Plus it has about a 3/4" cut in it.
