Re: 430 Starter

This is a follow-up to my previous post. I found a solution that proved much easier and should prove to be more permanent. I hope this helps others with a 430 Bird. First I would like to thank Derbird for suggesting RobbMC for a modern starter with a short nose. I purchased a starter from them speci...

430 Starter

From what i have read the Tbird 430 uses an inertia starter gear (long nose). The Lincoln uses a solenoid starter engagement (short nose). Since the engine, transmission, flywheel, and headers are the same why could I not use the Lincoln starter? Since the Lincoln starter is much easier to install a...

1964 Thunderbird Hardtop

This car has been sold. I recommended the VTCI to the new owner. This has been a labor of love over the last twenty years, but I need the space for a few new projects. The car has power steering, power brakes, power windows, power driver?s seat, swing-away steering wheel, door locks, and air condit...

Martha May

I wanted to pass on to other T-Birders that Bill May's wife of 46 years, Martha, lost her battle with cancer on January 11th, 2011. We were fortunate to have Bill and Martha at the South Central Regional convention last June. Bill's white '59 was certified as a survivor at the Colorado Springs Inter...

VTCI International in Colorado Springs

I just wanted to make a comment on how great a job the RMTC did in hosting the International Convention. We had a great time with all the wonderful T-birds in attendance and all the well planned activities. We met up with many old friends and made many new friends. I learned more about the T-bird I ...

Pictures

Would it be possible for members to have a place to load pictures of their events to a forum? People visiting the foum could see what is going on at other events. Regional or international convention participants could upload their pictures and view pictures taken by others. Due to the space and siz...

Fuel Pump

I use both an electric and mechanical. If your car sits for a week or more between trips the electric helps pump up the system so it is not as hard on your starter or battery. The mechanical pump acts as a regulator and retains the stock appearance on my 430. For a carbureted engine you do not need ...

Quarter Window Frame

I need the passenger side quarter window frame for a 1960 hardtop. Window is optional. I have tinted factory windows and the glass in my broken frame is good.

Thanks,
Brad

Heater Motor

Sorry to respond so late. If you still need a heater motor I have a spare. I have converted my 60 to air conditioning.
