Re: Forums upgraded from phpBB 3.3.8 to 3.3.9

Thanks Terri. It’s normally not a big deal, but probably good to find a young IT enthusiast TBird owner to start grooming to replace me or split duties. Not planning to go anywhere, but I’m big on redundancy/succession planning. I bet it’s getting close to 10 years that I’ve been doing the forum adm...

Re: Jamco dual master cylinder and booster conversion

Thanks Bob. I'll snap some pics of the unit I received, but the front/rear ports appeared to be integrated into the MC and there was not a separate proportioning valve. If the valve was supposed to be separate hardware, it's possible that the hardware received was incomplete. There were no instructi...

Re: Jamco dual master cylinder and booster conversion

I recently purchased the Jamco dual master cylinder & booster conversion kit for my 65 convertible: https://www.jamcosuspension.com/product/1965-1966-ford-thunderbird-power-brake-conversion-kit-pbb6566tb The kit appears to have the proportioning valve built in for front disc/rear drum. So I just...

Cybersecurity

Hi Everyone- I was recently made aware of two instances where a 3rd party emailed a member directly based on a Wanted or other forum post with a suspicious offering related to parting out of a collection due to health reasons and including pics of a car. In general, use caution if you are not absolu...

Re: 1965 R12 to R134a conversion

May be worth stocking up on extra 134a. After recently rebuilding the AC in my Jeep Grand Wagoneer, I was discouraged to stumble across this article the other day: https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2021/05/biden-epa-proposes-rule-to-slash-use-of-climate-super-pollutants/ Guess 134a will be going t...
