just a quick update on my situation i did contact a couple of British car clubs in the area and even found a friendly helpful MG club none of them seem to have a lead on this kind of work in this area i might as well buy the tools and set up and do it myself, and maybe put myself in business one of ...

just a quick update i have not fixed or looked into ignition yet, even with cyl1 misfiring every now and then the engine still runs smooth though... i have another issue now, i got the car on a hoist the other day to look at suspension, i will be changing the rear shocks and tie rods the even bigger...

i will definitely try and replace some ignition parts and upgrade the ones i have definitely need a refresh

i did think the stock air opening was a bit small for the size of the engine i did replace it for an edelbrock 14inch i will see how the car is running and make adjustments to the carburettor accordingly i think i might have some issues with spark wires i tried to get a timing light to work the othe...
